Pak-China expert Lt Gen Subramani named next CDS; Vice Admiral Swaminathan new Navy chief
Lt Gen NS Raja Subramani (retd) has been appointed the new Chief of Defence Staff, tasked with implementing the theaterisation model. Vice-Admiral Krishna Swaminathan will take over as the next chief of the Indian Navy, focusing on modernization. Both appointments are effective from May 30 and May 31 respectively.
