Ohio school levies 2026 - why spring ballot issues shortchange voters: Letter to the Editor

Governing bodies often feel spring levies are a fail-safe. If they fail, they can be brought back in the fall, and new monies generated still can be collected the next calendar year. If a tax levy has merit, it should only be on a November ballot when voter turnout is significantly higher, writes Robert Paulson of Bainbridge Township in a letter to the editor.
