NEW Strictly It Takes Two host Ellie Taylor has revealed she was forced to rush her son, three, to the hospital after he fell ill on holiday. The comedian explained that before they arrived at their Airbnb in Sussex, her little boy had a mild cough. Taking to Instagram, Ellie documented her hospital experience in a slew off snaps. Written in text across the snap, Ellie penned: “Almost as soon as we arrived at our Airbnb, the toddler decided to upgrade his mild cough to full blown struggling-to-breathe-croup. She then shared a bare-faced selfie as she recalled having been to A&E five times before with her son. “Go to Chichester A&E! Great late night trip! Ace Toy selection! Free Squash! Access to steroids! five stars,” she said. Most read in TV Ellie continued: “I’ve been to A&E five times with this child and it’s always when I’m serving make-up-free & knackered hag.” In another snap, her son could be seen sitting in the waiting room in his PJs and crocs. She wrote: “Staff were all brilliant and the steroids even better. We were home by midnight and determined to crack on and enjoy a few days on the beach after all the lovely sun we’ve had. “When we woke up this was the weather…” Ellie showed fans a clip of the torrential rain pattering on the window at their Airbnb after weeks of sunshine. Despite the rain, Ellie and her family were seen strolling along the beach and even went out for some dinner. YAY! “But then obviously he fell over on the gravel on the way and cut his leg. Boo.” Ellie captioned her Instagram post: “Nothing like being on holiday dreaming of being on holiday. “Are you even a mother if you haven’t said the phrase ‘Everyone’s getting on my t*ts’ at least once by the time the breakfast buffet opens.” This comes as Ellie was announced as the new Strictly Come Dancing spin-off It Takes Two host. Sources told us how the spin-off needed a ‘revamp’ after Fleur East and Janette Manrara were axed from the hosting role. They said Ellie was perfect for the job after proving a hit amongst fans when she starred on Strictly in 2022. Ellie shot to fame as a stand-up comedian and also starred in Apple series Ted Lasso as Flo “Sassy” Collins. Comment now
