That's because Roku has announced that Scarlett Holmes is officially moving forward, with Pretty Little Lies star Lucy Hale in the title role. The series is focused on Scarlett as a modern descendant of Sherlock Holmes. She has inherited her “family’s legendary powers of observation,” according to the official press release. But instead of focusing on solving crimes, Scarlett's specialty is “mysteries of love, dating, and relationships.” Scarlett is joined by Jane Watson, her trusty sidekick, and the duo deal with everything from mixed signals to secret crushes. But even though Scarlett is skilled at solving the love lives of others, she's far less fortunate when it comes to her own romantic woes. That trouble only increases once she falls for Ollie Moriarty, described as a charming podcast producer who's planning a secret exposé on Scarlett and her methods.
