A NEW Home Bargains store is set to open in a UK market town this weekend. The affordable homeware giant will welcome customers to the 13,724 square foot shop in just a matter of days. The Lincolnshire branch, opening on 8am on July 25, will join over 600 Home Bargains stores already trading across the nation. Sign up for the Money newsletter Thank you! Selling home accessories, snacks, chilled and frozen food, furniture, toiletries, toys and more, the superstore will be based in the town’s Holland Market Retail Park. Home Bargains, which opens around 50 new shops a year, will create 46 new jobs for locals with the arrival of the new site. Spalding already has a B&M Home Store on Westlode Street, however the new Home Bargains is expected to come as a real retail boost for the area. Emelia Mullis, who will be the store manager of the Spalding Home Bargains, told London Post: “I’m incredibly excited to be opening our new Home Bargains store in Spalding on 25th July. “It’s fantastic to be part of Home Bargains’ continued growth and even more rewarding to create new employment opportunities for local people. “My team and I are looking forward to welcoming customers through the doors and becoming part of the Spalding community,” she added. Most read in Money Home Bargains will sit in one of 10 units in Holland Market Retail Park, which boasts parking 467 parking spots. It will join the likes of B&Q, Iceland, Pets at Home and Halfords. There is also an ice cream store at the outlet, along with a Shoezone and Poundstretcher. Holland Market sits alongside large Sainsbury’s and Lidl supermarkets as well as the Ivy Wall Wetherspoons pub, all while being a stone’s throw away from Spalding train station. Comment now
