National Bank of Georgia launches modernised RTGS payment system with Montran

The National Bank of Georgia has unveiled a revamped Automated Transfer System, powered by a new Real-Time Gross Settlement platform developed in partnership with Montran. This modernized system supports ISO 20022 messaging, facilitates real-time payments, and operates around the clock, significantly boosting the country's payment infrastructure. This major upgrade, the result of a 25-year collaboration, is set to enhance transaction speed and security, reflecting Georgia's commitment to financial modernization and resilience in the global market.
