He leaves behind his wife Anasuya Gopal and daughter Mala.Condoling Mr. Gopal’s death, Mysuru District Congress Committee President B. J. Vijaykumar said Mr. Gopal was a prominent figure in the Old Mysuru region, who was deeply rooted in public consciousness through his position in the literary field for the last 40 years.
