It's a genuinely smart premise, and one that allows those with the truly exceptional powers to stand out in a world of heroes and villains. In recent times, there have been more and more forays into the world of gaming for the IP, to varying degrees of success, and it has been a breath of fresh air to see it emerge in our favorite medium. Now, the latest of those efforts is about to launch for the Nintendo Switch 2, and that could be the ideal platform to get the most out of the game. In case you haven't really been keeping up, there had been three major releases tied to the franchise in the run up to this year. Then, February 2026 saw the arrival of My Hero Academia: All's Justice, a 3D arena fighter that did the best job yet of translating the series' major appeal. After initially launching on PC, Xbox and PlayStation, the game is set to debut on to the Nintendo Switch 2 on September 4, as confirmed in a press release directly from Bandai Namco themselves. In sharing a little about the game for fans, the description reads as follows: "MY HERO ACADEMIA: All's Justice is the super-powered 3D arena fighter where your favorite characters from the My Hero Academia franchise appear in their latest and most powerful forms, framed within a Refined Battle System. "Experience the final battle of MY HERO ACADEMIA from a new perspective in MY HERO ACADEMIA: All’s Justice’s story mode. Re-live Bakugo’s fearless stand against All For One, experience Deku’s heroic struggle to bring justice and redemption to his fated foe, and more in a unique and cinematic take on the climactic clash of MY HERO ACADEMIA." If you are thinking about committing to the Nintendo Switch 2 version, it also comes with an exclusive new feature that lets you enjoy online battles with family and friends through GameShare via GameChat.
