MEL C has revealed she ‘had a little chat’ with former bandmate Geri Horner about wearing white to her wedding. The Spice Girls alum tied the knot with her Australian other half Chris Dingwall last month – with Geri, Emma Bunton and Mel B all in attendance. The host asked: “A few of the girls might have been wearing white, or it looked almost white, how do we feel about that?” Explaining her thoughts, Mel replied: “So, yeah I did have a little chat with Geri because it is her favourite colour and she wears it every day. Emma, known as Baby Spice, opted for a white and baby pink checkered suit, while Scary Spice Mel C wore a beige studded mini-dress. Many noticed that final Spice Girl Victoria Beckham wasn’t in attendance for Mel’s big day, and was instead in the US watching the World Cup with husband David. She tried to get out of it, she isn’t the biggest football fan, she won’t mind me telling you that, but the family were there and David had commitments being an ambassador for FIFA.” The singer-turned-fashion-designer did make up for it by designing Mel’s stunning wedding dress. The newlywed continued: “But she did make my gorgeous dress and she was messaging me on the day and I actually saw her when I was in Ibiza so we had a little catch up. “We were giving her updates and sending her pictures.” Mel and her husband Chris married in what she described as a ‘perfect’ day at The Country House Cumbria – changing into a custom Adidas look after the ceremony in typical Sporty Spice fashion.
