Meghan Markle and Prince Harry got all dressed up for a swanky evening spent at the David Foster Foundation’s 40th Anniversary Celebration in Canada last Friday, and the couple couldn’t resist turning heads—Harry looked dapper, as per usual, in a black suit and tie, and Meghan was the epitome of Montecito royalty in a slinky black one-shoulder gown. But her blink-and-you’ll miss it accessories for the evening paid a subtle homage to Princess Diana.For their night out, the Duchess wore Diana’s diamond and sapphire butterfly-shaped earrings to give herself a touch of sparkle. And even if you don’t say a word, you can convey something in what you wear,” she said in an April interview with Australian Women’s Weekly. “I usually gravitate to tonal dressing because it looks streamlined, but I also find it a lot easier to put a look together that way. It removes some of the guesswork and feels timeless.”
