CBS (via MovieStillsDb) Published Jul 17, 2026, 5:18 PM EDT Jennifer is a TV and Movie News Editor at ScreenRant. She started her journey in entertainment media in 2022 when she first joined Valnet at CBR before coming to ScreenRant. Jennifer loves TV, especially science fiction. She also loves late-night talk shows, due to her insomnia. Alien: Earth is definitely one of her favorite shows, and she jumps on any chance she gets to write about it. Even on her days off, she will claim an Alien Earth article if one is available. Jimmy Kimmel and Jimmy Fallon are two of her favorite late-night hosts, and Conan O'Brien before he left his show. Her Alien: Earth coverage for ScreenRant is by far the work that she is most proud of so far. She was initially a finance and political editor, but her passion for pop culture convinced her to transition into entertainment journalism. During her off time, she loves to binge-watch cooking shows such as Kitchen Nightmares. Jennifer also loves spending time with her daughter and cherishes every moment of it. NCIS franchise appears to be building up toward one of its biggest stories yet, with Harmon officially returning to the screen in NCIS: Origins season 3 alongside several familiar faces from across the franchise. As CBS expands the NCIS universe, a new sneak peek at the actor participating in a table read has fueled speculation that a major crossover event could be on the horizon. After serving primarily as the narrator and executive producer of NCIS: Origins, Harmon will take on a much larger on-screen role in season 3. Rather than appearing only briefly, the actor is set for a season-long arc as Leroy Jethro Gibbs. The storyline will reportedly center on a modern-day case connected to Gibbs' past, with an old one being reopened and tied directly to events of the prequel. Wilmer Valderrama's return fueled even more theories. The star, who plays Special Agent Nick Torres, is confirmed to reprise his role in NCIS: Origins season 3. His character's connection to Gibbs is something that viewers believe the series could draw a lot of storylines from. More to come...
