The pair have three children together, sons Mateo – who suffers with autism – and Rio and daughter Bella. It’s believed they started dating back in 2018 when Cucurella was playing for Barcelona. The family had been staying in Horsham during their time in the UK after Cucurella initially joined Brighton in 2021, before signing for Chelsea a year later. She is now set to move from London to Madrid after her husband’s big £51.8million move to the Spanish capital. But she has previously admitted the switch came as a shock and that she found it hard to explain to her children. She said: “I don’t know how to say goodbye to my home. “Thank you to everyone who has been a part of this experience; I feel so lucky for everything we’ve shared these past years. “I arrived with two babies and I’m leaving with two little boys and a British girl, and I don’t know how I’m going to explain to them that Chelsea is no longer part of our lives.” Comment now
