A MAN has admitted murdering a mum-of-seven and dumping her body in the bin after she vanished nearly 30 years ago. Patricia Lashley, 33, disappeared from her West Midlands flat in 1998 and has not been seen since. Appearing at Wolverhampton Crown Court, Dunkley, of Himley Road, Dudley, showed no emotion in the dock. It is believed Patricia and Dunkley were known to each other Credit: West Midlands Police She disappeared from her own flat in Dudley Credit: Google Maps Asked if the victim’s body had been found, his barrister Balbir Singh answered: “No, because this is 28 years ago and the body was put into the cellar downstairs. “It decomposed. “When he was moving about nine months to a year later the skeleton was disposed of into the bins.” Asked if there was a basis of plea, Mr Singh said of the case: “It is down to what the defendant told the police when there was no evidence in reality of what had happened.” Most read in The Sun Patricia, who also used the names Vanessa and Tricia as well as the surname Bradford, moved to Dudley in the mid 1990s. It is believed the victim and Dunkley were known to one another. The man was remanded in custody and will be sentenced on November 6.
