Ameesha Patel's staff member arrested over Rs 5 lakh theft at Mumbai residence

A staff member attached to actor Ameesha Patel’s household has been arrested in connection with the alleged theft of jewellery worth approximately Rs 5 lakh from her family residence in Mumbai. The incident reportedly took place at the actor's family home in Churchgate, where her mother, Asha Patel, filed a police complaint after high-value items —including a diamond-studded gold bangle — went missing.Confirming the development exclusively to India Today, Ameesha’s manager said, “Yes, it’s true. They caught the staff member, who is now in jail.” The suspect remains in custody as police continue their investigation into the matter.Ameesha or her family members are yet to issue a statement on the incident.Meanwhile, Ameesha was last seen in actor Sunny Deol’s Gadar 2 (2023).
