M&S reveals 90s Christmas crisp dupe that tastes just like discontinued favourite – and they’re already in stores

Fans of the crisps have dubbed the newest flavour “absolutely banging” and claim it tastes just like a “legendary” 90s favourite. Fans of Brannigans Roast Beef & Mustard crisps, which were axed six years ago, have been calling M&S’ iteration a “worthy replacement” of their beloved savoury snack. Appearing on supermarket shelves earlier this month, one fan said on Reddit: “I love them and have bought four bags so far.” While another praised the “absolutely banging” flavour, adding “always good to see a meat flavoured crisp that actually contains meat flavour and not just some adjacent herbs”. However, not all believe the savoury snacks are up to scratch to the originals, with some still longing for Brannigans to come back. One disappointed crisp lover claimed: “Nothing will match Brannigans.” While another shopper agreed that it was “not quite Brannigans level but I will definitely grab them again”.
