ANGRYGINGE is targeting a shock place in the Modus Super Series. The King of the Jungle has become a familiar face around the sport through his close friendship with Luke Littler and his love of darts. The popular streamer believes he could work his way up to the level needed to feature in the weekly amateur competition if he commits to practising regularly. He said: “In the Modus Super Series, match averages range from 80 to 100. “If I stuck at it from now to the end of the year I reckon I could get in that. “I played seven legs yesterday, didn’t once play darts in the last eight months and averaged 70.” The Modus Super Series sees non-PDC Tour Card holders, international players and former pros compete across five days each week, with matches broadcast live from Portsmouth. Ginge, whose real name is Morgan Burtwhistle, previously joined fellow influencers Pieface and Bambino Becky for Sky Sports’ Walk-On Experience at the Worlds in December. Burtwhistle proudly sported his own darts shirt and finished the look with a pair of Lightning McQueen Crocs. He explained: “I might go to Q-School next year, though. Not to win, because I know I won’t win. “Just to see what it’s like. The more pressure you’re under, the more you get used to it. “In darts, your hands are shaking and everything.
