The milestone brings LP’s total scholarship investment to more than $3 million since 2001 and extends five consecutive years of program growth.The 2026 class includes 46 first-time recipients and 58 renewing scholars pursuing undergraduate degrees and vocational or technical education across North America. This year’s class represents the company’s largest annual investment to date, with more than $250,000 awarded to support higher education for the children of team members.Administered by Scholarship America, the LP Scholarship Program evaluates applicants based on academic performance, leadership, community involvement, work experience, and financial need.“Receiving the LP Scholarship is an incredible honor,” said Kathryn Playford, a junior at the University of Regina and daughter of LP Swan Valley Plant Operations Superintendent Troy Playford. “Beyond the financial support, it represents encouragement, recognition, and the freedom to continue pursuing my education.
