LIZZIE Cundy stunned in a sequin dress as she’s posed with Tallia Storm – just weeks after the pop star sadly lost her dad. The TV personality, 58, looked incredible as she posed for some snaps with singer Tallia, 27, and her famous mum Tessa Hartman, 56, at The Cliff in Barbados. She wrote: “Last night, I decided to follow my own rules – or, as I like to call it, the Hartmann Mantra: ‘get up, dress up, show up and never give up.’ Most read in Showbiz “So, I blow-dried my hair for the first time in six weeks (a small miracle in itself), put on something other than my usual uniform of survival, and headed to Sascha and my favourite restaurant – a place woven into so many wonderful memories, some dating back 30 years. “And I went with my kids in tow, as always – my greatest cheerleaders, my biggest blessing and the people who can still make me laugh when I’m not sure I feel like smiling. “There was great food, a brilliant band, lovely new faces and, for a few precious hours, a glimpse of the old me. The one who laughs, dresses up, goes out and enjoys herself. She’s still in there somewhere. Last night, I found her – albeit fleetingly. “Of course, the guilt crept in. The ache is still there. Grief doesn’t politely excuse itself because you’ve put on lipstick and gone to dinner. It comes along for the ride. “But I won’t lie – it felt good. “So thank you to my amazing friends for gently pushing me through the door when I would rather have stayed behind it. And to my beautiful kids, who somehow know exactly when I need a little nudge, a laugh or simply their presence. “Valentina and Giac, we missed you two terribly – but not long now until your big day. “And today, being Sunday, I’m choosing gratitude. Thankful to God for every blessing, both big and small, and continuing to pray for strength, healing and the courage to keep showing up. “One night doesn’t change everything. Alongside a picture of the actor and cinematographer smiling for the camera, she wrote on Instagram: “Sometimes there are words that you never imagine, in your entire lifetime, you will have to write. “Yesterday, my darling husband, Sascha, the devoted father of our incredible children, Valentina, Tallia, Johnnie and Zachary – passed away suddenly in Lugano, Switzerland. “We had only moved to Lugano last December, full of excitement for this new chapter in our lives. Now, I simply cannot comprehend a world without him.” Tessa described her husband as a “true gentleman” and an “extraordinary” person. She wrote: “He was gifted beyond words – an exceptional artist, a beautiful composer and pianist, with a brilliant mind and the most wonderfully gentle soul. But above all else, he was the most devoted father. He adored our children and was endlessly proud of every one of them. “This August we were meant to celebrate our 30th wedding anniversary. Instead, I am organising his funeral.” Tessa and Sascha met back in St Tropez back in 1995 and the pair tied the knot six months later. They share children Tallia, Johnni, Zander and Zack. Tallia later bid goodbye to her ‘hero’ dad with an emotional funeral performance. She took to social media to share moments from the day as they celebrate Sascha’s life, which included a clip of her singing at the funeral, showing her performing an emotional rendition of Sunny by Bobby Hebb. She wrote: “Wednesday wasn’t just a funeral. It was a celebration of life. Our favourite gospel choir flew in from London, Zac on the saxophone followed by Zac on keys and me singing ‘Sunny’. “Johnnie, Kae & my amazing Mum with an incredible speech… Tessie’s strength & nothing but love across the entire church. “A celebration of the greatest man we’ve ever known.The entire day felt like we were in a film, sadly, the film was a real life story.” Comment now
