‘Little Ikea’ homeware chain launches closing down sale at first ever UK store shutting this weekend

A POPULAR homeware brand has launched a closing down sale at its first ever UK store before shuttering it this weekend. The chain first opened in the city centre location in 2016 and also sells clothes and crafts. There have been reports that stock is dwindling at the Nottingham site, with many of the shelves bare with just days to go. Crafts, clothing, and homewares remain with massive reductions. A sign in the window tells customers: “We are sorry. Unfortunately, this store will be closing as the landlord is planning a redevelopment of the premises. “Please note that as we prepare for the closure, some items may no longer be available in the store and many items will be reduced in price. “The sisters would like to thank all customers for their support over the years.” News of the closure has sparked discussion on social media, with Sunday, September 13 the final day of trading.
