Latest Harry Styles James Bond rumours have 007 fans at the end of their tether

Seriously, it feels like every white guy who’s ever walked through Tinseltown has been screen-tested for the role at this point. Callum Turner and Jack Lowden are the favourites to be given a license to kill if the bookies are to be believed, with Josh O’Connor apparently nipping at their heels. Still, though, it’s a day ending in Y, so there are new rumours to be reported on and dissected. Specifically, Variety has claimed Harry Styles, of Don’t Worry Darling and Dunkirk fame, may have had discussions about the role. And the news may have pushed James Bond fans, who’ve been waiting years now for a new 007 to be announced, over the edge. While ca_peach asked: ‘Why is picking a new James Bond harder than picking the Pope?’ ‘I’m so tired of hearing about this casting decision… at this point just do a Bond Cinematic Multiverse culminating in James Bond: Bondumania and the Bonding Wars. ENOUGH WITH SPECULATION,’ wrote @MarkBeierly on X. ‘Okay lol how many f****** people they got on this thing not everyone can be f****** 007, ‘ added a frustrated @Sphinx_twin. Of Rob and Nick, it’s the former Twilight star who seems to be the more popular choice, with many wondering why his name wasn’t linked with the role before now. Still, Amazon haven’t confirmed any of the alleged screen tests, and there are reports that at least one potential Bond has drunkenly told friends he’s 007.
