Krystle D'Souza and Rida Tharana win The Traitors 2, split Rs 66 lakh prize money

Krystle D’Souza and Rida Tharana have emerged as the winners of The Traitors Season 2, taking home the Rs 66 lakh prize money together. In a dramatic finale, the two Traitors chose to stand by each other till the very end, with Krystle even giving up the chance to eliminate Rida and walk away with the entire prize amount.The finale episode began with Mallika Sherawat becoming the last Innocent to be murdered, leaving five contestants in the game — Krystle, Rida, Shalini Passi, Sahil Salathia and Dalip Tahil. The contestants then entered the Circle of Shaq, where Dalip was voted out. However, as per the rules of the game, he did not have to reveal whether he was an Innocent or a Traitor.The final four: Krystle, Rida, Shalini and Sahil, then entered the last stage of the game, ‘Shak aur Bharosa’, where trust and suspicion determined who would make it to the finish. Sahil was the first to be eliminated, followed by Shalini, leaving Krystle and Rida as the final two.The biggest twist came when Krystle had the opportunity to take Rida out of the game when Shalini voted against her. That way she would have been the solo Traitor in the top 2 and could claim the entire prize money for herself. Instead, the actor chose to stand by her fellow Traitor, even though she jokingly added that Rida was the ‘Worst Traitor’. The moment Krystle and Rida finally revealed that they had been the Traitors was met with visible shock from Sahil and Shalini. Their reactions summed up just how successfully the duo had managed to keep their identities hidden until the very end.Krystle’s journey was particularly significant. She entered the game as one of the original Traitors and survived after her fellow Traitors were gradually exposed. Even though many doubted Krystle, she managed to sweep away the doubts, every time, making her even joke that she is a cat with nine lives on this show. Krystle eventually recruited Rida, who had started the season as an Innocent, turning her into her biggest ally in the final stretch. Rida, meanwhile, had initially built her game as an Innocent and managed to survive several rounds without becoming a major target. She was also the one, who successfully cracked Kullu to be a Traitor in the game, winning the trust from her fellow Innocents.
