Kev explodes in Emmerdale and has a very Kev way of destroying life-changing evidence

Kev makes quite a revelation (Picture: ITV) There’s a secret going round Emmerdale – Kev (Chris Coghill) is the one who knocked Billy Fletcher (Jay Kontzle) out cold and left him for dead. Why did he do this? Simply wrong place wrong time. It left Billy in a coma with a bleed on the brain, and after the CCTV footage of the attack mysteriously disappeared, Joe Tate (Ned Porteous) was framed for the crime. But Kev comes to learn what happened – Ruby (Beth Cordingly) and Caleb Miligan (William Ash) ‘destroyed’ the footage to frame Joe, such is their hatred for him. This act also killed two birds with one stone as it left them with a bargaining chip to carry out their next plan – to blackmail Kev into destroying Jimmy King’s (Nick Miles) business. Sadly for Kev, it doesn’t end there. When he later gets a bit tipsy at Joe’s ‘sten do’, he waddles over to Billy and apologises for attacking him. He was so close!
