Katie Price reveals Harvey is getting his first tattoo aged 24 – but sister Sophie is horrified

KATIE Price has revealed son Harvey is getting his first tattoo aged 24 – leaving sister Sophie horrified. The former glamour model, 48, was discussing her plans for more ink during the latest episode of her podcast when she told how her eldest son has been asking for his own tattoo. A tiny little frog.” Sophie, 36, made her feelings on the subject instantly clear, saying: “No. Don’t let Harv have a tattoo.” Sign up for the Showbiz newsletter Thank you! Mum-of-five Katie replied: “But he really wants one.” Shaking her head, Sophie said: “No. Don’t do that to him, Kate.” After a pause, Katie explained how she and children Junior, 21, and Princess, 19 – who she shares with ex-husband Peter Andre – were planning to also have frogs, famously Harvey’s favourite animal, inked on them. Harvey lives with ADHD, autism, genetic condition Prader-Willi Syndrome, and septo-optic dysplasia, which causes blindness. Defending her decision to allow Harvey to have the tattoo, Katie said: “He is 24, he is a man. I know he’s got complex needs. “Harvey knows what a tattoo is because he sees them on me and has seen me get them done. Most read in Showbiz “Where do we stand on this? Because if he wants it, why can’t he?” Sophie argued: “But Harv’s mental age isn’t 24, is it? It’s a lot younger. So I would think of it in that respect. He can’t make a decision without you or someone else there.” Katie confessed that she is struggling with where to draw the line when it comes to Harvey’s capability to make certain decisions. She said: “This is a good conversation. If it was him signing a form, then no.” Katie then explained how Harvey is very aware of his popularity on social media, where he has 348,000 followers, and revealed he asks for his artwork to be posted on the platform for his fans. Clearly wanting to allow Harvey to live as normal a life as possible, Katie also shared plans to take him to Ibiza after he expressed a desire to go to a nightclub. Harvey’s father is ex-footballer Dwight Yorke, who Katie has called out repeatedly through the years for lack of involvement in their son’s life. Comment now
