The measures have been put in place to ensure the safe passage of devotees and minimise disruptions.Authorities have urged motorists to plan their travel in advance, use alternate routes wherever possible, and cooperate with traffic personnel deployed across affected stretches.TRAFFIC TO REMAIN REGULATED ON KEY ROUTESAccording to the advisory, traffic movement is likely to remain regulated on:NH-44 (GT Karnal Road) Outer Ring RoadAdjoining roads in Delhi's Northern Range Commuters travelling through these corridors should expect diversions, congestion, and temporary restrictions, particularly during peak Kanwariya movement.ADVISORY FOR COMMUTERSTo avoid inconvenience, the Delhi Traffic Police has advised commuters to:Plan their journey in advance and keep additional travel time.Use alternate routes wherever feasible.Avoid NH-44, Outer Ring Road, and service roads during peak Kanwariya movement.Follow directions issued by traffic police personnel.Pay attention to Variable Message Signboards (VMS) for real-time traffic updates.KANWAR YATRIS NOT ALLOWED ON UER-II EXPRESSWAYThe advisory also states that the movement of Kanwar Yatris is strictly prohibited on the Urban Extension Road-II (UER-II) Expressway.
