JADON SANCHO has reached an agreement with a number of clubs after rolling credits on a hapless five-year stint with Manchester United. Sancho, 26, joined United from Borussia Dortmund in 2021 following a staggering £73million deal but never lived up to the hype as he only managed a mere total of 12 goals and six assists in 83 appearances. The forward has been linked with a third stint at Dortmund where he registered a total of 53 goals and 67 assists in 158 appearances across two stints. This comes as the Manchester City academy graduate spends his time as a free agent training at tenth-tier club Flixton. The non-league club’s revamped pitch at Valley Road – around a ten-minute drive away from United’s Carrington training base – first opened by Sir Alex Ferguson in 1995. Sancho achieved the remarkable feat of playing in all European finals for three different teams. The forward played for Dortmund in the 2024 Champions League final, which they lost 2-0 to Real Madrid.
