IVAN TONEY has shared snaps of himself on holiday to his social media, just days after he was charged with assault. It was announced by the Met Police on Friday that England World Cup star Toney had been charged with assault causing actual bodily harm following an alleged headbutt during a brawl inside a London nightclub. The force confirmed Toney, who plays for Saudi side Al-Ahli, would be due to appear at Westminster Magistrates’ Court on September 24 – two days before England play Spain in a Nation’s League tie. But days after the charge, and days before it was made public, Toney shared snaps of himself enjoying his summer break following the World Cup in North America. Toney was seen posing with his arms folded while wearing a sleeveless black vest, shorts and a hat in front of a scenic city and ocean view background. The former Brentford stars Instagram, where he has just under a million followers, showed him on spin bikes and with more bold fashion statements in a picturesque sunny setting. In one short video Toney was seen grimacing as he stepped into a bath tub. Another snap showed a stunning pool and property basking in sunlight, with the final pic seeing him looking sharp in a collared shirt.
