Twilight, Pretty Woman and Mamma Mia are the top movies which boyfriends and husbands have confessed are their 'guilty pleasures'. Settling in for cosy film nights with their wives is a favourite date for men, though at least half of them would never let on to their friends if asked.Film streaming company Netflix commissioned a poll of 2,000 men in relationships and asked them whether they quietly enjoy watching a girly film.The results showed that Pretty Woman is the favourite romance film amongst men, with 10 per cent of men admitting to crying during films. The five installments of the Twilight Saga, starring Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson, also come high up on the list of movies loved by men.Ten per cent of men also put face masks on or receive a pedicure with their partner while watching a film.Mean Girls and Miss Congeniality are both on the list of ‘guilty pleasure watches' too. Husbands secretly love watching romantic films with their wives a poll by Netflix has found Netflix/Lionsgate: The Twilight Saga with Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson scored highly among men tooOther titles in the top 30 list include Sleepless in Seattle, When Harry Met Sally, The Devil Wears Prada, Moulin Rouge and Legally Blonde.The study also found that British couples watch four films together a week which strengthens relationships according to 90 per cent of those asked.During the films, foot rubs, snack sharing and holding hands, help couples to bond.The poll was commissioned by Netflix, to celebrate the complete Twilight Saga being released on the streaming platform in the UK from Friday, September 11.
