Intrepid Partners With Air Canada Vacations Right as Canada Pushes For More Domestic Travel: Exclusive

Intrepid Travel is teaming up with Air Canada Vacations, making local adventure itineraries available to book through the Canadian tour operator right as politicians push for more domestic travel. The partnership brings eight of Intrepid’s pre-existing small-group tours to Air Canada Vacations' booking platform and travel advisor network, with the potential to expand to other destinations. Initial itineraries include multiday tours exploring the Rocky Mountains and rail travel along Eastern Canada. Bookings are open to all nationalities, but Intrepid CEO James Thornton said he expects the Air Canada brand to draw domestic travelers. “They wanted to get a bit more adventurous, immersive products in their own backyard,” Thornton said of Air Canada.
