IDF begins strikes in southern Lebanon following drone attack by Hezbollah

SEPTEMBER 6, 2026 06:42Updated: SEPTEMBER 6, 2026 07:23The IDF began a wave of strikes in southern Lebanon on Sunday morning following the launch of two drones by Hezbollah terrorists towards troops operating within the security zone, the military announced.During the Hezbollah attack, IDF soldiers opened fire on the drones and downed one of them.No IDF injuries were reported.Ahead of the strikes, IDF Arabic Spokesperson Lt.
