A funeral was held in Gaza on Saturday for around 100 Palestinians whose bodies were recovered from the rubble of homes destroyed in Israeli attacks, Reuters reported. The ceremony took place in the Zeitoun neighbourhood, southeast of Gaza City, where relatives and residents gathered to mourn the victims. According to Gaza civil defence authorities, the deceased included 55 members of the Malka family, whose remains were recovered underneath the rubble of a building in the Zeytoun area. The victims had sought refuge in the building roughly two years ago during an Israeli bombing campaign.
