Antumbra’s Staff is the third Antumbra boss enemy, appearing after you’ve met the Witch of Kindness. Luckily, if you’ve already bested Antumbra’s Sword and survived the overwhelming speed of Antumbra’s Spear, then you’re going to be well-prepared for this third boss fight. We’ll show you where to find the boss and how to defeat Antumbra’s Staff easily using one of the most powerful weapon builds in Crimson Desert. How To Find Antumbra’s Staff You can choose to head to the Sanctum of Solace whenever you’d like after meeting the Witch of Kindness. You first encounter Bari, the Witch of Kindness, in a tent to the east of Wayward Woods, shivering in the cold. Here, you’ll find Antumbra’s Staff and a group of zealots, just waiting for you to challenge them. Every Explosive Arrow hit will knock Antumbra’s Staff back, and you can even juggle the boss in midair if you constantly hit it with arrows using your Evasive Shot skill. Use Focus (LS + RS / L3 + R3) to slow the battle down so you can react to Antumbra’s Staff accordingly. When the boss is about to strike with a melee attack, dodge and counter with a few hits of your own. When the boss prepares to unleash a volley of shadow projectiles, use Nature’s Snare to absorb the hits and fire them back at the boss. Use Force Palm (RS/R3) to weaken the boss and build up the stagger meter as much as you can. Your goal is to stagger the boss so you can approach for a Turning Slash Finisher (R1+R2 / RB+RT) when the boss is vulnerable. Repeat this process of countering the boss and unleashing Force Palms, followed by attacks to build stagger and eventually do massive damage to defeat Antumbra’s Staff. What Rewards Do You Get For Defeating Antumbra’s Staff? Once you defeat Antumbra’s Staff, you’ll be rewarded with the following items: Abyss Artifact Guidance Of Dark Pursuit With Antumbra’s Staff defeated, finish clearing out the rest of the area, defeating the zealots roaming the area. With the area cleared out, you can focus on gathering the missing materials needed to cleanse the Sanctum of Solace. Make your way southwest of the large machine into a dingy chamber with a pool of water in the middle. You’ll find both the pieces you need here. First, grab the large column block at the far side of the chamber, floating in a dark corner. Then, go through a small crack in the wall and turn left, where you’ll find the small square power core floating behind some bars. Use Axiom Force, then select the Seal option to store these pieces in your Kuku Pot. When you have both pieces, return to the machine and use Force Palm to reconnect the broken column piece and insert the power core into the square hole. When the Sanctum of Solace is cleansed, Bari will arrive to thank you for your work. However, there’s one last thing you can do here. How To Get The Core Of Solace The Sanctum of Solace, like every Sanctum, houses a secret puzzle to solve once the machine has been reactivated. Approach the notched panel on the front of the machine, which features a circular pattern with small gems. Use Blinding Flash (L1+R1 / LB+RB), then focus the light (hold LB/L1). You need to shine your light on the panel to make it rotate. Activating your light with LB/L1 at the moments where the gems are aligned with 12 o’clock will progress the rotation, while making a mistake will reset it. So, as each gem lines up with the central line at the top, flash your light on it, lighting up each gemstone until the pattern is complete. When you finish, the Core of Solace will pop out of the top of the machine and float above it. Grab the Core of Solace with Axiom Force, then seal it away in your Kuku Pot.
