How Does Taylor Swift Plan Her Easter Eggs? Cara Delevingne Says...

Cara Delevingne Reveals When She and Girlfriend Minke First Met in Rare Relationship CommentsIf you want to party with somebody who might know about Taylor Swift’s Easter egg creation process, look no further than Cara Delevingne. After the supermodel made a cameo in Swift’s “Patient Zero” music video last month, she’s gotta be honest—she’s never expecting this call from her bestie. “She was like, ‘You have to call me right now,’” Delevingne recalled in an exclusive E! News interview during WSJ.Magazine’s Innovator Awards Oct. 29 “She explained it to me and I was like, ‘You’re too smart. You’re actually too smart. It’s genius.’” And while Swifties had plenty of blank spaces decoding Swift’s tease of the “I Forgot” singer’s cameo—as well as Dakota Johnson and Colin Farrell’s leading roles—during her Emmys 2026 skit, Delevingne teased that she was more than ready for it. “I remember just avidly watching before it happened,” the 34-year-old continued. “Just waiting for that moment and I was like, ‘People are going to die.’ Like, turning to the camera and breaking the fourth wall in that moment. She’s such a good actor, too.” The Paper Towns actress admitted she felt bejeweled to not be on the outside of Swift’s scheming. “That whole bit was so incredible,” she mused. “I loved being in the know for that. I felt so special.” Meanwhile, it was even more thrilling to live the true life as a showgirl alongside the Grammy winner in the making of the video, more than 10 years after her cameo in “Bad Blood.” “We talk on the phone often but she called me and was like, ‘I have a great idea,’” Delevingne shared. “She usually only has great ideas but when she mentioned that, I was like, ‘Of course, yes.’ Anything she asks you to do, it’s pretty much an instant yes.” For Delevingne, the hardest part of the entire process was knowing places where she could hide the surprise. Dakota and Colin are amazing. Everyone on the shoot was amazing.” What grabbed her headfirst, though, was seeing Swift give the people what they want and keep it moving on set. “I always get to see her when she’s performing and stuff,” Delevingne explained. “But seeing her as a director and that kind of creative and demanding but also being such a collaborator. She is a multi-talented person.” Meanwhile, Wild Horse Nine director Martin McDonagh—who spoke at length with Swift shortly after she began her foray into directing in 2022 and has collaborated with Farrell multiple times—expressed a similar sentiment, highlighting the power of Farrell and Swift’s meeting of the minds. “Taylor’s amazing, Colin’s amazing,” McDonagh—who was being honored as an innovator for film at the event—told E! News in a separate interview. “That’s a great partnership, actually.” For a deeper look into Swift’s evolution, keep reading… Peter Kramer/Getty Images2006Frank Mullen/WireImage2007Picture Perfect/Shutterstock2007Tony R.
