This update will add new story, and two new gacha units that are actually summer versions of past Penacony characters we've already met. Honkai: Star Rail will go down for maintenance on Tuesday, Aug. 25 or Wednesday, Aug. 26 (depending on your time zone) at the following times and will be unavailable for approximately five hours: 3 p.m. PDT on Tuesday, Aug. 25 for the west coast of North America 6 p.m. EDT on Tuesday, Aug. 25 for the east coast of North America 7 p.m. BRT on Tuesday, Aug. 25 for Brazil 11 p.m. BST on Tuesday, Aug. 25 for the U.K. 12 a.m. CEST on Wednesday, Aug. 26for western Europe 7 a.m. JST on Wednesday, Aug. 26 for Japan 8 a.m. AEST on Wednesday, Aug. 26 for the east coast of Australia Make sure to burn your fuel before maintenance starts, if you want to, but keep in mind that the new battle pass will launch right when the patch goes live, so you may want to hold on to some of it to farm new materials and whatnot. Usually Hoyoverse is pretty good by abiding by maintenance times. We don’t usually get extended maintenance, but it does end early sometimes! What’s new in Honkai: Star Rail version 4.5? Summer break is just about over for us, but in Honkai: Star Rail, it's just getting started. Version 4.5 will bring out special summer versions of two characters from Penacony: Aventurine Waveflair and Robin Sumeretto. Aventurine will be a Quantum Nihility character and this time, Robin will be Wind Remembrance. Hyacine and Ashveil will also get reruns in this patch, so you can pick them up if you've missed them in their previous banners. The flagship event for this event will be a racing event, where you can earn the usual rewards, like Stellar Jade and other upgrade materials, for playing the mini-game.
