HOME Bargains has announced it will close all its 617 stores across the UK for three days. The closures will affect those planning to shop at the homeware retailer later this year. Shoppers will not be able to visit the retail giant on Christmas Day (December 25), Boxing Day (December 26) and New Year’s Day (January 1). Sign up for the Money newsletter Thank you! Currently, no further details have been given regarding the planned closures for 2026. Home Bargains did close all its stores over the same three days last year, and at the time a spokesperson said: “Our colleagues work incredibly hard throughout the year, and we want to recognise that commitment. “As a family-run business, we understand the importance of spending time with family and friends, particularly over the holidays. “We’re proud to give our teams additional time off to enjoy the festive season.” Comment now
