Holly Willoughby ‘at war’ with former ITV bosses over her new YouTube show

HOLLY Willoughby is reportedly ‘at war’ with her former bosses at ITV over her brand new YouTube show. The ex This Morning presenter – who stepped down from the daytime show in 2023 – returned to presenting last week with her new lifestyle and interview show Together. The Mail On Sunday reports that This Morning even ‘poached’ two of Holly’s guests to appear on the show before her interview was released. Sign up for the TV newsletter Thank you! Sources claim this happened after the guests were named on a press release to promote the launch of Together a fortnight ago. Mother Ellen Roome appeared on Thursday’s This Morning to discuss her 14-year-old son’s death in April 2022, and was interviewed by hosts Dermot O’Leary and Alison Hammond. In another incident, food bloggers Original Flava cooked on This Morning last Wednesday ahead of the release of their alleged appearance on Together, which will see them in the kitchen with Holly. A source told the publication: “There is no way that this is a coincidence. Ellen Roome has been bravely fighting her fight for a long time but This Morning have never had her on. “As soon as they saw the press release, they’ve booked guests to get them on before Holly’s viewers get to see them. You hate to think it, but it feels a bit like sabotage.” Most read in TV They added: “Holly’s team put out a press release in good faith to share what was coming up, in between then and the episodes going live This Morning have swept in and grabbed her guests. ITV must be very jealous indeed.” ITV declined to comment when approached by The Sun. The Sun has also reached out to Holly’s team for comment. Holly’s show began last week and featured The Devil Wears Prada star Stanley Tucci as a guest. She left ITV’s flagship daytime show in 2023, months after it was engulfed in a sex scandal involving her co-host Phillip Schofield. A security guard’s sickening plot to murder her also emerged. Twisted Gavin Plumb was later jailed for life, with a minimum term of 16 years, following a high-profile court case. Holly then confirmed she was stepping down to ‘prioritise’ her family after the extremely turbulent series of events. Comment now
