The game's website was last updated on June 27. Yesterday, it received a trio of updates. As spotted by videotech on Twitter/X, these updates are all pretty insignificant; however, they do signal something is happening. Maybe. That being said, it's probably worth tempering your expectations, at least a little. It all has shades of the build-up to Hollow Knight: Silksong. In the weeks and months leading up to that game, eager fans were glued to its Steam page, praying for any update and assuming that when it received one, some news would be close. More often than not, it wasn't, and GTA 6 fans definitely need to be wary of falling into this trap. One thing that lends a little credence to this theory is that Take-Two's next earnings call is in about a week. It's here that the company's CEO, Strauss Zelnick, updates investors on what's going on, and Grand Theft Auto 6 will be the topic of the call.
