'GTA 6' Is Getting Its Own Official PlayStation Hardware

The controller is a chic one that comes with glossy purple highlights and etchings that look like palm trees. The touchpad has a giant "VI" in the middle with its own palm tree decals as well. The backside of the peripheral has the GTA logo on it, in case you forget what game the controller is themed around. The controller comes in a black and white colorway, and is up for pre-order now. The accessory will launch alongside GTA 6 on Nov. 19, 2026. Pre-orders can be made with Sony directly, or via major retailers. It'll cost $84. "These limited-edition DualSense wireless controllers capture the style and luxury of Vice City," reads the description on the new controller's short trailer. You can get a closer look at the new DualSense hardware below: There's good reason to get a new controller as well. GTA 6 is expected to bring back L3 sprinting, so players are expecting that the 80-hour game will put heavy wear on their gear. GTA 6 will also support special DualSense features, like haptic feedback and adaptive triggers. There's no news on a GTA 6-themed PS5 console or bundle that includes the game, console, and new DualSense controller. Given how much Sony is treating GTA 6 like a first-party exclusive worthy of the royal treatment, it may just be a matter of time before an announcement comes down the pike.
