A “MUCH-LOVED” grandad has died two weeks after being hit by a car in an Aldi car park. David Bush, 77, was struck by a Toyota Prius at the supermarket in Brighouse, West Yorkshire. David was rushed to hospital with serious and life-threatening injuries. Sign up for The Sun newsletter Thank you! But tragically, he died on Monday, August 17, West Yorkshire Police said. A 46-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of causing serious injury by dangerous driving. He has since been bailed pending further enquiries. David’s devastated family paid tribute to the “much-loved” husband, father and grandfather. They said: “David was a much-loved husband, father, and grandfather and will be missed dearly by those knew him.” Officers from the force’s Major Collision Enquiry Team are now investigating the circumstances surrounding the crash.
