Ghost of Yōtei is Getting a Roguelike Survival Mode That Includes Ghost of Tsushima's Jin

PlayStation blockbuster Ghost of Yōtei is getting a new single-player roguelike mode, Most Wanted, as part of its Complete Edition that includes its upcoming expansion Echoes of Sekigahara.Take down Most Wanted targets within the mode and you'll progress through tougher fights using various modifiers, and ultimately unlock more characters — including Ghost of Tsushima's Jin Sakai, who arrives with all four of his signature stances.As well as Atsu, Oyuki and Nagato will also be playable, before you unlock Jin. "For Jin, our animation and character art teams worked hard to take his Ghost of Tsushima model and keep it faithful while also applying upgrades for Ghost of Yōtei," wrote Sucker Punch Productions' Andrew Goldfarb. "Jin can use his katana with all four of the original stances from Ghost of Tsushima, helping to exploit enemy weaknesses. He also starts with a Sticky Bomb and hankyu. "Jin’s Ultimate is the Dance of Wrath skill from Ghost of Tsushima, which targets multiple enemies and disarms them, and his Kill Streak is, of course, Ghost Stance, which allows him to terrify the enemies around him and kill a limited amount of them in a single hit."All of this will launch on October 1, the same date previously announced for Echoes of Sekigahara. Existing owners of the game can upgrade for $14.99, or alternatively you can purchase Ghost of Yōtei Complete Edition digitally now for $69.99, with new content unlocking on October 1.Today's announcement comes as part of the latest showcase from PlayStation.
