And now, the QVC-exclusive Moonstone Blue XL model is on sale for a limited time as part of QVC’s early Black Friday promotion. The bundle comes with an XL water tank and filter.Originally $549, the Opal 2.0 XL bundle is now $399 with free shipping. This method makes the nugget ice even softer than other budget countertop nugget ice makers. This particular ice works exceptionally well in iced coffee, soda and cocktails.The machine can produce up to 1.6 pounds of ice per hour, or 38 pounds over 24 hours, and the bin holds up to three pounds at a time.The matching XL side tank is another notable feature. It holds 128 fluid ounces, or one gallon, to keep ice production going between refills. That extra water supply is useful for households that go through several iced drinks a day or want a steady supply while entertaining. A water filter, drip tray and ice scoop are included in the bundle.Built-in Wi-Fi connects the machine to the SmartHQ app, so you can control it from an iPhone or Android phone. The front touch display provides access to power, lighting and cleaning controls, while status indicators show when the machine is making ice or needs more water.At approximately 16.5 inches tall, 13.43 inches wide and 17.5 inches deep, the machine needs a dedicated spot on the counter.
