Gabby Thomas had a role to play in Baby Tate’s kidnapping (Picture: ITV) There were shocks galore in Emmerdale this evening as the truth behind Baby Tate’s kidnapping was explained – and it wasn’t just down to Joe Tate (Ned Porteous). No, the scheming so-and-so recruited Gabby Thomas (Rosie Bentham) to help with his plot to get one over on Graham Foster (Andrew Scarborough) and Kim Tate (Claire King). To her credit, Gabby was very apologetic when she realised that Joe had misrepresented the situation when asking for her help. Meanwhile, Joe remained remorseless as he bragged about how easy it was to use Gabby’s guilt about the accident that killed Dawn and Jimmy to manipulate her. As it stands, Joe has yet to show any interest in raising his child – but could Graham’s suspicions that he might change his mind be right? What does the future hold for Baby Tate and the rest of the Emmerdale residents? What happens next in Emmerdale? Spoilers for Friday, October 30 and beyond revealed Joe isn’t the only one manipulating people in tomorrow’s episode – at least not directly. Sadie King won’t give up (Picture: ITV) Sadie King (Patsy Kensit) is still working to split up Caleb and Ruby Miligan (William Ash and Beth Cordingly) under Joe’s instructions, and tomorrow sees her continue to plant the idea that Caleb is controlling in Ruby’s mind. Going into next week, Sadie is frustrated by Ruby’s determination to stay on the wagon, as she fears her plan isn’t working as well as expected. Desperation mounting, Sadie sneakily switches Ruby’s drink for hers, before continuing to spike her until she’s drunk. The evening in the pub escalates and Caleb arrives just in time to see Ruby collapsing on top of Ross Barton (Michael Parr) – all orchestrated by Sadie, of course. Caleb is furious, and Sadie further stirs the pot by insinuating that something is going on between his wife and Ross. Nicola King continues to struggle (Picture: ITV) When Ruby finds out, she confronts Sadie about her lies. Is it game over?
