IShowSpeed is a 21-year-old Cincinnati native who happens to be the most famous streamer on the planet. Millions of followers tune in to watch him get mobbed by fans across the planet while doing acrobatic flips and shouting hyped-up inspirational speeches. He also makes music sometimes, and he has one gold record, the 2026 single "World Cup." Frost Children are New York siblings who make glitchy, maximalist hyperpop. They have zero gold records. Recently, Speed made a quick burst of music with Frost Children while in the middle of a livestream.I have no idea how this kind of thing happens, but Frost Children were part of an IShowSpeed livestreaming session in New York yesterday. Outside of their studio, Frost Children said, "We're making some dubstep" and invited Speed to make some music with them. Speed seemed confused by the term "dubstep" — I think he thought it was a dance style — and Frost Children hilariously locked themselves out of their studio for a long and excruciating moment while Speed posed for a photo with a little girl. Speed also told them, "Y'all look interesting." It's true! They do!Once they finally got inside, Frost Children immediately hit play on a hyperactive track, and Speed danced for a few seconds, grabbed a mic, and did a bit of freestyling before grabbing a warm Red Bull on the way out. He was in Frost Children's studio for something like two and a half minutes, but I guess that counts as a collaboration. Watch it all happen below.
