Fresh blow for Joe Swash as his C4 show is AXED after just one series and ‘non-existent’ chemistry with co-host

CHANNEL 4 have AXED Joe Swash’s cookery show Batch from Scratch: Cooking For Less after just one season. Despite a huge publicity drive with co-host and batch cooking guru Suzanne Mulholland, Joe never quite found his feet as a safe telly chef when the programme launched last Spring. A source said: “The move from EastEnders actor to cheeky-chappy presenter to family chef didn’t happen as seamlessly as bosses had hoped.
