EMMERDALE’S Danny Miller has claimed that his co-star Lawrence Robb will be offscreen until 2027 – after it was revealed that he has signed up for Strictly Come Dancing. Yesterday the actor, who plays Mackenzie ‘Mack’ Boyd in the ITV soap, was announced as the twelfth star who’ll be waltzing round the dancefloor this year. He took to Instagram to share a snap of his Strictly promo shot, alongside another with his daughter, with the caption: “Swipe to see his number one fan.” Sign up for the Emmerdale newsletter Thank you! The line-up also sees two Love Island champions taking part this year in the form of series four winner Dani Dyer and series 12’s champ star Cach Mercer. Big Brother host Will Best is another star in the mix alongside EastEnders legend Lacey Turner, Brit movie star Jaime Winstone, footy ace Shaun Wright-Phillips and Aussie pop star Delta Goodrem. Rounding out the line-up is House Of The Dragon actress Bethany Antonia, Paralympian Sarah Storey and Kim Kardashian‘s hairdresser Chris Appleton. Previously, The Sun exclusively revealed that newly single X Factor hunk Jake Quickenden is also in talks with Strictly bosses – though the BBC is yet to officially announce them as a contestant. The new season also welcomes a brand new presenting line-up of Emma Willis, Josh Widdicombe and Johannes Radebe.
