EMILY Atack’s famous TV star mum Kate Robbins revealed her impressive weight loss after joining Netflix series Rivals. Over the weekend, Emily tied the knot to her long-term partner Alistair Garner. The Inbetweeners actress, 36, took to Instagram to announce the happy news, reflecting on the ‘perfect’ day which included a personalised McDonald’s van serving McFlurries. “Yesterday we officially got married among close family and friends. Christ, we have fun don’t we @dralistairgarner.” Emily looked every inch the glowing bride in a plunging white gown with an accompanying veil. Her dress was a Juliette style created by Avenue by Josephine Scott in collaboration with Evelie Bridal. The brand revealed how Emily had a “clear vision” for her bridal gown, looking for something “contemporary and unexpected”. The two were seen laughing and smiling as they were covered in confetti by guests in one photo, before posing in front of a classic car, each holding a glass of wine for their official wedding photos. The actress and scientist Alistair announced their engagement in July last year. It’s thought that a second ceremony will take place in Spain, with Emily teasing a September wedding in a previous interview. Speaking to Luxury London Magazine, she said: “I think I’ve nailed it. We’re getting married in September. I’ve very much enjoyed the planning process.” She added: “Choosing napkins and stuff.
