Once they’re alone, Dylan apologises to Betsy for not speaking to her much recently, but it’s clear she’s suspicious of the timing of his visit. Wanting to keep things light, Betsy jokes that the comment could get him cancelled, but when Dylan takes it seriously, she is understandably frustrated, pointing out that they are still allowed to joke about things. However, Dylan isn’t in favour of lightening the mood, as he laments how guilty he feels and tells her that he couldn’t feel any worse.
