A surprisingly reliable Nintendo insider who appears to have a 100 percent track record has claimed that a brand-new Super Smash Bros. game is in development, among other things. The last few weeks have already been packed with massive gaming news thanks to GTA 6, Gamescom, and the recent State of Play, but things are about to get real exciting for Nintendo fans. Over the next few days, we’ve got two Nintendo Directs to look forward to, with one focused on Zelda and the other as a more general showcase. Outside of the Ocarina of Time remake, we don’t really know for sure what Nintendo has cooking for us in the next year or so, which makes these Directs a very big deal. Ahead of those, a reliable insider has shared multiple projects that are apparently in the works, including the one we’ve all been waiting for - Smash. Nintendo Insider Says The Next Smash Isn’t An Ultimate Port Nintendogs, Wario World, And Mario Kart World DLC Are All Coming Too Over the past few months, a reliable Nintendo insider has emerged out of the blue: YouTube user Malo932. You might not have heard of them, but they’ve correctly shared plenty of leaks, including the announcement of a double Direct, the new Star Fox, Ocarina of Time remake, Switch Sports Resort, and several other claims that have been backed up. As if all of that wasn’t enough, Malo932 recently made even more predictions for Nintendo that Twitter user CentroLeaks collected in one tweet. The big one is that a brand new Smash game is in development and not a port of Ultimate like many theorised would be the case. That doesn’t mean it’ll be at this week’s Direct, but it’s apparently happening. I think I speak for everyone when I say that a new Smash would really bring up the Switch 2’s library. It’s basically the main thing everyone wants to see. Some of the other leaks include that a new Nintendogs is in the works, Mario Kart World’s DLC will feature Fox McCloud and launch in 2027, a new Star Fox Adventures game is coming, and the long-rumoured 3D Mario won’t be here until 2027. Malo932 also says a new Wario World is in development, which was also recently reported by another insider. Interestingly, it seems like Malo932’s leaks might have gotten too much attention, as they’ve deleted all of their YouTube comments and changed their handle to “stop”. That doesn’t mean the reports aren’t real, though, so it might be time to start getting more than a little excited for the double Nintendo Directs.
