IT’S been a long hot summer and the A-listers have been out in full force giving us all the style inspo. Between the World Cup, Love Island and multiple film premieres, there has been lots of opportunities for our favourite celebrities to pull out their best looks from their wardrobe. We’ve seen bump friendly dressing, sexy swimwear snaps, new lingerie lines and a perfectly curated tourdrobe. But who has made our jaw drop for all the right (and wrong) reasons? Here, our Fabulous Fashion team reveal the winners and sinners from this summer. Best Maternity Wardrobe – Anne Hathaway Proud Anne Hathaway has been more than happy to put her best belly forward Credit: Getty ANNE Hathaway has been one busy lady, with five major movies coming out in 2026, including The Odyssey and The Devil Wears Prada 2. But her biggest production was happening off camera. The actress, 43, revealed in June that she is expecting her third child and, ever since, she’s given a masterclass in maternity dressing. What started off with loose fitting, long gowns from the likes of Prada and Louis Vuitton morphed into bump baring two-piece ensembles, including the Prabal Gurung silk halter top she paired with jeans to the premiere of her latest film, The End of Oak Street. Fans were divided, but proud Anne was more than happy to put her best belly forward. Proof indeed that pregnancy doesn’t mean putting fashion on mat leave. Pitch-Perfect WAG – Megan Pickford Megan Pickford was our Golden Wag when it came to match day glamour Credit: instagram/meganpickford LOST luggage couldn’t stop England WAG Megan Pickford from scoring in the style stakes at this year’s World Cup. For England’s first game, the 30-year-old was forced to make do with borrowed jeans, thanks to an airline error, but still pulled off a winning look, topped off with a cowboy hat emblazoned with a ‘1’ in a sweet nod to hubby Jordan’s shirt number. And once her suitcase finally made it off the bench, Megan seriously upped her fashion game. From her Chanel England flag brooch and perfectly coordinated belts to designer bags and patriotic nail art, no detail was too small for the tiny bombshell. Forget the Golden Boot, when it came to match day glamour, Megan was our Golden Wag. Sizzler of the Summer – Sydney Sweeney Sydney Sweeney has spent the summer promoting her new lingerie line SYRN Credit: SYRN SCIENTISTS have revealed that according to the so-called ‘golden’ body ratio, the ideal female figure looks remarkably like Sydney Sweeney. And the impossibly stunning Euphoria star has taken that information and ran with it. After launching her own lingerie label, SYRN, this year, Sydney, 28, has spent the summer promoting it, modelling everything from slinky two piece sets and plunge bras to lacy garter skirts and stockings. And with the tag line ‘Your boobs deserve SYRN’, fans have been flocking to buy the merch in a bid to emulate their sexy idol. With an enormous fan base and apparently science on her side, Syd clearly found her winning formula. Best Tourdrobe – Zendaya Zendaya has taken to ‘method dressing’ when promoting whatever character she’s playing Credit: Getty IF there was an award for dressing for the film you’re promoting, Zendaya would need a bigger trophy cabinet. The actress, 29, has taken to ‘method dressing’, using her red carpet wardrobe to give a nod to whatever character she’s playing. Case in point, her outfits for both The Odyssey and Spider-man: Brand New Day press tours. For the latter, she aptly channeled Greek goddess glamour in flowing, draped gowns, before switching into superhero mode, where she donned dresses with webbed detail and heels complete with spiders crawling on them. It’s something Zendaya has been doing for a while now. Remember when she wore a series of wedding dresses on the press tour of The Drama, a film about a couple getting hitched? Talk about getting into character. Best Revenge Dressing – Maya Jama Maya Jama was unveiled as the face and body of Agent Provocateur’s 2026 swim collection weeks after splitting from Ruben Dias Credit: Agent Provocateur AFTER calling time on her romance with Manchester City ace Ruben Dias at the end of April, there was no chance of Maya Jama being left on the bench. Instead she jetted off for another long hot summer in Mallorca to host Love Island and wasted no time turning heads both in and out of the villa. Just to really rub it in poor Ruben’s face, Maya, 32, was unveiled as the face and body of Agent Provocateur’s 2026 swim collection mere weeks after their split, where she posed up a storm in a string of racy looks, from tiny bikinis to plunging swimsuits. Love Island is known for its bombshells, but Maya was undoubtedly the queen this year, and proved the only thing hotter than a villa romance is an immaculate revenge wardrobe. Best High Street Collab – Olivia Attwood x River Island Olivia Attwood took inspo from the 1990s and 2000s for her River Island collection Credit: River Island GOING from Love Island bombshell to a bona fide high street fashion force was no mean feat for reality TV favourite Olivia Attwood. But three collections in with River Island, the star is proving anything but a one season wonder. This time around Liv, 35, has taken inspo from the 90s and 00s, with wide leg jeans, leather skirts and double denim looks leading the way, alongside stand out pieces like a chic deer print coat and a fitted drummer jacket. Olivia says she designed the collection to be accessible to all people and situations, encouraging fans to wear her pieces for “a night out, a meeting or just dressing down to walk the dog.” With that in mind, this celeb collab remains 100 per cent our type on paper. Best Wedding Wardrobe – Dua Lipa Dua Lipa looked chic in a custom Schiaparelli skirt suit on her wedding Credit: Ray Collins IT was one of the most anticipated celebrity weddings of the summer and Dua Lipa certainly didn’t disappoint when it came to the bridal looks. In fact, after tapping up her little black book of designer contacts for her nuptials with actor Callum Turner, fashion darling Dua’s big day(s) turned into something of a bridal fashion week. Looking chic at her London Marylebone civil ceremony in a custom Schiaparelli skirt suit, complete with white gloves and a huge hat, the singer, 30, oozed sophistication. Then, for the three day Sicilian celebration in June, she opted for several looks, including a feathery leather floor length dress and a show-stopping Chanel gown with a six meter veil. According to reports the creation featured a staggering 480,000 beads. That’s one way to say ‘I-Dua’. Swimsuit Siren – Amanda Holden Amanda Holden has made the bikini snap an art form Credit: instagram/noholdenback WE’RE not sure where she finds the time, but Amanda Holden is well and truly making the most of the summer heat, by wearing as little as possible, as often as possible – and documenting it all. The TV presenter, 55, has made the bikini pic something of an art form, kicking off the year by modelling a string of swimsuits on a birthday break in Dubai, before opting for a slinky red number to enjoy the June heatwave from her own garden. And after a trip to St Tropez, she took her impressive swimwear collection to Corfu, where she’s been showcasing her enviable bod in a series of sexy snaps. No wonder the self aware star jokingly warned fans of “the annual onslaught of bikini shots” back in July. Biggest Fashion Chameleon – Maura Higgins Maura Higgins is a true fashion chameleon and pulls off couture or preppy tennis chic Credit: Getty IN true Traitors fashion, Maura Higgins, who starred in the US version of the hit show, has spent the summer proving that she can pull off pretty much anything. And when it comes to her wardrobe, she’s certainly not been faithful to just one look. From pretty-in-pink couture, to preppy tennis chic in crisp Wimbledon whites, Maura, 35, has experimented with her style at every opportunity. And it’s not just her clothes that have had a makeover. The star has switched up her hair almost as often as her outfits, going from tumbling, bouncy waves, to a dramatic pixie crop. She’s formed more fashion alliances than we can keep track of and when it comes to serving all kinds of looks, there’s no banishing Maura from the best-dressed lists this summer. The Put-It-Away Prize – ‘Naked’ Dressing Chappell Roan kicked the year off by wearing a barely-there dress suspended by nipple piercings to the Grammys Credit: Getty NAKED dressing is one trend we’d be more than happy to see the back of. Yet, despite our best efforts to move on, celebs clearly haven’t got the memo. Chappell Roan kicked the year off by wearing a barely-there dress suspended by nipple piercings to the Grammys, while Hailey Bieber left little to the imagination in a totally sheer gown at the premiere of Wuthering Heights. But it was this year’s Met Gala in May that looked more like a naturist event than a fashion party. Kylie Jenner had plastic boobs on show, Gigi Hadid had everything on show and rapper Doechii simply draped a bit of fabric around her torso. We’re all for showing a bit of skin, but when underwear becomes the main event, perhaps it’s time to put naked dressing back in the wardrobe.
