Similar to George Lucas' Star Wars, the Indiana Jones franchise has an exceptionally sparse inter-franchise crossover record, driven by Lucas and Lucasfilm's strict desire to keep the character's historical reality completely isolated from external properties. Aside from minor video game appaerances in titles like Fortnite and LEGO Star Wars, the most notable comic crossover occurred in Dark Horse's non-canonical Star Wars Tales #19, where Indy stumbles upon the wreckage of the Millennium Falcon and Han Solo's remains. Indiana Jones' history in the comic book medium is robust, however, having starred in a series of comics under the Marvel Comics banner during the height of his 1980s prime.
