Disguise allowed in court

RICHMOND, Va. — The Virginia Court of Appeals found the lower court did not violate a criminal defendant’s confrontation rights when a confidential informant, who feared for his life, was allowed to testify against the defendant under a pseudonym and while covering his facial tattoos with a mask and a “do-rag,” leaving just the area from his nose to the middle of his forehead visible to the jury.
